Privacy notice

This notice explains how Kaidis (Pty) Ltd, trading as Atora (“Atora”, “we”), handles personal information collected through this website, www.atora.co.za. It is written to meet our duties under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). The Atora application has its own privacy notice, which firms receive when they sign up.

Who we are

Kaidis (Pty) Ltd is a South African company. You can reach us, including our Information Officer, at sales@atora.co.za.

What we collect

• When you apply to join the founding firms: your name, role, work email, phone number if you give it, your firm's name and location, its size, the billing system it uses, how you heard about us and anything you choose to tell us.
• When you email us: your email address and whatever your message contains.
• When you visit: our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this website.

Why we use it

• To consider your firm for the founding programme and to contact you about it, with your consent.
• To reply to messages you send us.
• To send you occasional emails about Atora, only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To protect the website against misuse, which is in our legitimate interest.

Giving us your details is voluntary, but we cannot consider an application without the required fields.

Who can see it

Our team, and the service providers who run parts of this website for us: our website host, our email delivery service and our email provider. They act on our instructions and must keep the information secure. We do not sell personal information.

Information sent outside South Africa

Some of these providers store or process information outside South Africa, for example in the United States or the European Union. We use providers that are bound to protect it to a standard comparable to POPIA.

How long we keep it

We keep application details for as long as we are discussing the founding programme with your firm. If your firm does not go on to use Atora, we delete them within 12 months, or sooner if you ask.

Your rights

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. You may object to our processing it and withdraw your consent at any time. Email sales@atora.co.za. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you may complain to the Information Regulator.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page if how we handle personal information changes, and change the date at the top.
